All this being said. DO NOT EAT AT SNOWSHOE. JUST DON'T DO IT.

You've been warned.

When we got seated we waited at least half an hour to get our drinks and order taken, we then waited another hour for our food that they didn't bring out they just brought us our checks, when we finally got the food it was terrible, one order was made wrong, the food was basically flavorless and everything was cold from sitting from setting for that long. The service was also very poor, not even a sorry for waiting that long for our food.

Was up there this Thursday and it was amazing...The burgers, bread, sauces and everthing else we ate was delicious. Also we were the couple that asked about selling your Tomato Romoulade, Ranch and Blue cheese. I'd be interested in buying and that stuff....

I used to love this place but man have they gone down hill (no pun intended). We went to a festival at snowshoe this summer and the waitress gave us attitude as soon as we sat down, so we left. The prices have steadily gone up over the years and the food quality has not. I'll try them again and will adjust my rating hopefully they read these reviews.

Great great place for burgers, chicken, steak whatever you want, has never disappointed. Would definitely recommend!!

We will NEVER be eating at Snowshoe again, and will ALWAYS pack ALL our food in from now on.

It should be unacceptable to have this poor quality of food and service at a resort, two days before a major holiday, at 60% capacity.

The first night we tried to dine at The Junction was two days before the 4th of July, so it was fairly busy. My girlfriend and I waited in a line to find out what the wait was, and when we finally got up to the hostess' podium, many minutes later, she walks away and spends the next 15 minutes walking around searching for a party that she had already sat. She finally came back, never having once acknowledged us to begin with, glances at the list, and then walks off looking for another party. We stood there dumbfounded that we had not even been spoken to yet, even though we were literally leaning over the hostess' podium to try to get someone's attention. So we left. As did the party behind us. And maybe even the party behind them.

Snowshoe might just hold the record for the worst dining experience I've ever had at a ski resort.

The next night, we decided to try again and chalk the previous night up to a busy night with poor staff. If you've been to Snowshoe, you know dining choices are limited and we didn't feel like paying $28 (yes, really) for a 1-topping pizza at Cheat's. This night, the restaurant was about 60% capacity, yet the hostess (at least acknowledging us this time) told us the wait would be 30-40 minutes, pointing to the half empty restaurant and saying "We're super busy". So we go to the bar and order an overpriced drink while we wait to be seated. The bartender, despite having half the bar empty, also seemed reluctant to do anything and said "We've been so busy tonight", again, with half the restaurant empty. We were finally sat after about 40 minutes, at which point we began to see the problems. The servers clearly didn't have much experience, as they were handing drinks to customers with their hands all over the rims, struggling to keep up with orders, and we watched several tables have to get up and go to the kitchen to request that they get their check because they had been waiting for so long. Additionally, the hostess who was seating people was also busing tables, both at a leisurely and half-hearted pace. Our waitress tried to bring us the wrong food, and then someone else's check, before we finally got to place our order. While we waited we took bets on how long it would take for tables to be bused. There were 4 large tables that were never bused from the time that we got there until the time we left. They were simply cleaning them as they needed them. It was also clear that they were grossly understaffed, which is unacceptable considering this is a resort, the day before the 4th of July. The manager, or what appeared to be the manager, was at least out on the floor running around doing everything because the staff couldn't keep up. We finally get our food, and this is really what made me write this review, because it was absolutely the most disappointing $16 burger I've ever spent money on. The fries were cold, chewy, and hadn't been cooked all the way through. The burger was overcooked, burnt, and was between two plain buns with one piece of lettuce and a sorry excuse for a tomato slice. Nothing else. My girlfriend ordered the Mac&Cheese, which was equally as disappointing. Not only was it served in a fine dining bowl, meaning a small portion, but it was also just as plain as the burger. There weren't even breadcrumbs on the top, which as an entree I would expect at least some effort put into it. An entree. We spent almost $35 on a burger and Mac&Cheese. I've had a better burger at a Shoney's and better Mac&Cheese at the buffet at Golden Coral.

ALL the restaurants were incredibly overpriced. We ended up buying food at Wildcat Provisions and cooking for ourselves, which was far and beyond better than The Junction and other options available.
